New 2026 Equipment Sneak Peek

Sneak Peek: The New 2026 Callaway Quantum Driver

Last week, we had the opportunity to attend a Callaway Staff Fitting at Palo Alto Hills Country Club, where we tested the brand-new Callaway Quantum driver — and it did not disappoint.

The Quantum is designed to help golfers hit the ball farther and straighter, combining cutting-edge technology with a clean, confidence-inspiring look.

Key highlights of the Callaway Quantum driver:

  • Fast ball speeds

  • A return to the glossy finish seen on the popular AI Smoke head

  • A quieter, more solid sound at impact

  • Advanced carbon/titanium face construction for improved feel and performance

The Callaway Quantum driver will be officially announced at the PGA Show in Florida at the end of January, with shipping expected in early February.

If you didn’t already know, The Clubhouse is a registered Callaway fitting facility — the only one in the Fremont/Milpitas area. We will be receiving all Quantum fitting components in mid-January, and we’ll be ready to get you fully dialed in for your best golf yet in 2026.

PGA Golf Tip of the Week

“The Gary Player Walk-Through Drill for the Hanging Back Swing Characteristic”

One of the greatest golfers of all time, Gary Player, was famous for stepping toward the target during his swing. Later in his career, he used this move to generate more power from the ground and his legs — and it turns out to be an excellent drill for golfers who struggle with hanging back through impact.

This drill encourages proper weight transfer, improved sequencing, and more solid contact.

If you tend to stay on your back foot or lose power through impact, this is a must-try drill.

Student Testimonial

*“Hi Eddie,
I have taken just two lessons from you and it has been a game changer.
Taking lessons from you has been a good decision and it’s helping me immensely.

Thank you, Vivek! Seeing players improve and gain confidence in their game is exactly why I love teaching.

Merry Christmas & Thank You

As we head into 2026, I want to take a moment to say thank you for all your support this year.

This has been my busiest year at the Fremont Clubhouse to date, and it’s truly been a pleasure helping so many golfers learn and enjoy this great game. I hope your golf has improved in 2025 and that you’re excited about where the game will take you next year.

New for 2026:
I’m expanding my availability to include Saturdays, with lesson times now available Monday through Saturday, 10am – 6pm.

From my family to yours, Merry Christmas, and here’s to hitting more fairways, more greens, and making plenty of birdies in 2026.
